OS名:Windows98 パソコン名:FMV ソフト名: 富士通のBIBROを使用しています。OSはWin98SEです。 WindowsXPも出て、あらゆる周辺機器がXP対応になって行っているので、そろそろOSを替えた方がいいのではないかと考えています。(98で今のところ取りたてて問題はないですが…あえて言うなら、安定が良くないかな) しかしPCの説明書を読んでみると「Win98とWin2000での動作確認をしています」となっていて、ひょっとしたらXPをインストールできないのではないかと、思っています。 ソフト(ここではWindowsXP)のインストールについては、 ・メモリ(XPは256以上でしたか) ・HDDの空き の項目について、ソフトが求める数値を満たしていれば、メーカーが動作確認をしていないマシンでも、インストールできる、使いこなせる、と考えて良いものでしょうか。 それとも買い替え時というやつなのでしょうか。 身近に詳しい人がいないので、是非教えてください。
