OS名:Windows98 パソコン名:Dell Inspilon 3200 ソフト名: マイクロソフトoffice98からoffice2000へのバージョンアップをしていたんです が、インストールの途中でハングアップしてしまい再起動してみたところ、win98が 起動しなくなってしまいました。 スイッチを入れると画面にはメモリチェック等のメッセージが表示され、続いて 「Windows98」という青い画面に切り替わり、そのあと画面が真っ黒になりエラー による強制終了のメッセージが出て、そこから先には進まなくなってしまいまし た。エラーの詳細を確認したところ「explorer.exe」にエラーが発生しているらし いのですが、対処の方法が分かりません。どなたかアドバイスよろしくお願いしま す。 なお、safeモードでも、起動の直前で同様のエラーが出て止まってしまいます が、prompt only ではちゃんと起動できました。

先日ウイルスに感染し復旧したのですが Windowsの修復でファイルを消してしまったようです。 ファイルが消去されたかどうかは不明です。 現状としては電源投入後にWindows98のロゴが流れ スキャンディスクが起動しセーフモードの選択画面が 表示されまたWindows98のロゴ画面に戻るという 繰り返しです。たまに「HIMEM.SYSがありません」 というメッセージが流れる場合があります。ですが HIMEM.SYSもC:\WINDOWS\の直下に存在しますし CONFIG.SYSにも記述されております。 いっそのこと再インストールしてしまおうとも 考えましたがCD-Rもなく大事なファイルがコピー できないためそれも気がとがめます。もし何か よい知恵がございましたが拝借いただけませんでしょうか。

OS名:Windows98 パソコン名:FMV-BIBRO NR��30L ソフト名: OSがWindows98のパソコンで、NECのISDNターミナルアダプターAtermIT75/Dを利用してイン ターネットに接続して何ら問題ありませんでした。ところがWindows98 Second Edition にバージョンアップしたところ接続できなくなってしまいました。そこでハードデスク をフォーマットして新たにOSをインストールし直しました。そしてターミナルアダプターのソフトを読込ま せたのですがどうしてもうまくいきません。試しにSEではなく98の前のバージョンだ とうまい具合に接続できるようになります。どうもSEにするとUSBを認識出来てない ようです。NECに電話したら最新版のソフトにバージョンアップしてください。と言われた のでホームページからダウンロードしてみましたがやっぱりうまくいきません。そこで別の NECに電話したら「98から98 Second Editionに変えても特別問題が起こるはずは ないし特別な(TA用のソフトの)バージョンアップも必要ないはずだ。」と言われ結局NECの 人も原因がわからないようでした。NECの人によく解らないと言われ非常に困ってい ます。誰かこの難問の答えを是非教えてください。

OS名:Windows98 パソコン名: ソフト名: Win2kを導入すべきかどうか、迷っておられる方が多い と思います。 私も単純にアップグレードするつもりでしたが、RC2 を見てちょっと考えさせられました。 本質はWindows98の顔を持つWinNTで、NT5.0というのが 正しい解釈でしょ? お客様番号:3693 OS名:Windows98 パソコン名:ThinkPad385XD ソフト名:Windows98 I-O DATA のPCSC-FPBを差し込むと自動電源OFF及び再起動できなくなる。 FORMAT 後Windows98をインストールしなおしたところ LANカードは正常に動くもののSCSIカードを差し込むと上記のErrorが発生 スロットを変えてみたりもしましたがだめでした。 以前は動作していました。ドライバも最新のものにしてみたのですが駄目でした。 ThinkPadのBIOSを更新してみましたが、これについてはまだ、試していません。 どなたか解決方法をご存知の方、お願いします。IRQぶつかっていないと覚えていま す。

OS名:Windows98 パソコン名:DELL DimensionXPS T500 ソフト名:IE5.01 初めて投稿します。 IE5.01 で JAVA が動かなくなってしまいました。 なんとか、助けてください。 経緯は以下の通りです。 まず、OutlookExpress5 が起動しなくなったので、 DELL のサポートの指示で、 Windows98 を上書き再インストール・・・結果はNG。 msconfig を実行して、正常だった時期のレジストリを復元。 OutlookExpress5 は、起動するようになったのですが、 IE5.01 でJAVA が動かなくなりました。 「IE の修復」実行済です。 セキュリティ設定などチェック済です。 もういちど、msconfig を実行して、正常だった時期のレジストリを復元したり、 Windows98 上書きなどで行けそうでしょうか?
