知り合いから、パソコンを譲ってもらいました。 自作機なので、OSは、もらえず、 OSを買うことになります。そこでご相談なのですが、 OSは、MEにすべきか、今度出るXPにすべきか、 みなさまだったら、どちらを選ぶか教えてください。 M/Bは、ABIT社のSE6 メモリは、もらえませんでしたが、HDは、IBMの30Gのものをもらいました。 あと、IDEケーブルとか、それと、Pentiumlll 500MもM/Bといっしょに ついているといっていました。 モニターもいただいたので、必要なのは、ケース(もらえなかった)と メモリ。そして、問題のOSです。 自分としては、古いソフトや、周辺機器が多いのでMEにしようか と思っています。が、MEは、あんまり評判良くないのと XPは、安定していそうなのと、必要なソフトは、 動きそうなので、いまいち決められません。 アドバイスをお願いします。

最近、骨董品みたいなWin95全盛期の時のノートPCを友人から譲ってもらい、 自分用に環境設定しようとしたところ、ディスプレイドライバが無いんです。 (インストールされてもいない) Win95は最小限で入っていたのですが、付属品は一切無し。Win95CD-ROMすら無し。 せっかくの1024x768(と思われる。)画面が640x480止まり。 まわりのブラックゾーンが悲しい。 で、メチャクチャ古いメーカーPCのディスプレイを正常に動作させるには どうすればいいんでしょうか? 一応、スタンダードディスプレイドライバを数種試したのですが、ダメでした。 もちろん、メーカーサイトのダウンロードにもWin95製品はもう見当たりません。 どうか、よろしくお願いします。

OS名:Windows98 パソコン名:IBM APTIVA16J ソフト名: こんにちは。 こちらは、IBM Aptiva 16J、Windows98を使っています。 このパソコンで初めて「MS-DOSモードで再起動」を使ってみたのですが、 作業が終わり、Windowsに戻ろうと思って、再起動したのですが、戻れず・・・。 DOS窓の要領で exit と打ち込んだのですが、またDOSモードに・・・ 同様に、win や autoexec と打ち込んでみたのですが、いずれも windowsには戻らずにDOSモードのまま・・・。 そこで皆様に質問です。このような状況の場合、どうすれば通常の Windowsに戻ることができるのでしょうか?どうかご回答よろしくお願いします。
